Nappanee Theatre
Location: 154 N. Main Street
The Nappanee Theatre first opened its doors in 1926 as the Fairy Theatre.
In 1936, it changed ownership but continued showcasing both movies and live performances. With some remodeling and updates, the theatre remained open every night of the week. A neon sign displaying the theatre's name was added to the exterior to attract more visitors. Despite the name changes over the years to reflect modern usage, the mosaic tile around the box office still bears its original namesake.
Today, the Nappanee Theatre is independently owned and operated, continuing the tradition of screening movies, typically on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings
