The City Council Meeting Agenda follows the format below:
- Call to Order — The meeting is called to order by the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem acting in the Mayor's absence.
- Pledge of Allegiance — The audience is invited to join Councilmembers in the Pledge of Allegiance.
- Special Business — Presentations are made for guests, awards, board appointments or proclamations.
- Public Hearing — By law, some issues require the opportunity for citizen input. Citizens are encouraged to state their support or concern(s) about an issue
- Review Speaker Guidelines for additional information.
- New Business — These items have not been previously considered by the Council. Each item is discussed, if needed, and voted on separately.
- General Issues and Concerns of Citizens — After the City Council completes the meeting agenda items above, citizens can address the City Council about other issues.
