Our department consists of 12 dedicated employees that work hard each day to provide top-of-the-line services to the members of this community. Nappanee’s sewer system remains top-notch because of its wastewater treatment facility. The highly technical process removes most contaminants from water before it is returned to the environment. Nappanee’s drinking water continues to be safe because we follow strict local and federal guidelines and testing regimens to ensure you, the consumer, are receiving the highest-level quality of water.

Please note, if you have problems with sewage backup into homes, water main breaks, hydrant problems, or other issues, please report them immediately by calling the utility office at 574-773-4623 during business hours (Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) or the emergency services dispatch center at 574-533-4151 on nights or weekends.
