The Parks and Recreation Board meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at the Nappanee Center, 302 W. Market St.

Their responsibilities include to perform all acts necessary to acquire and develop sites and facilities and to conduct programs as are generally understood to be parks and recreation functions, including, but not limited to, powers and duties listed in I.C. 36-10-1 et. Seq. The Board shall also prepare and submit an annual budget in the same manner as other departments of the city.
