Adult Mental Health First Aid Training

Most people don’t realize that you are more likely to encounter a person in an emotional or mental crisis than someone having a heart attack. Would you know what to do? If not, you should consider being trained in Mental Health First Aid.

After this training, you will be able to:
• Recognize common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges.
• Recognize common signs and symptoms of substance abuse challenges.
• Understand how to interact with a person in crisis.
• Know how to connect a person with help.
• Use self-care tools and techniques.

The cost to attend is $35 per person.

Please Note:
This course will be “blended” meaning there will be 2 hours of self-paced instruction required to be completed prior to the in-person class on May 31st.

Certification as an Adult Mental Health First Aider will be attained upon completion of the training and course evaluation.
